As the director of CJ Architecture Studio, Conrad is a RIBA Chartered member and an ARB registered architect.
He studied architecture at Cambridge University and the Bartlett School of Architecture. Prior to establishing the practice, he gained over 20 years experience in residential design in several architectural offices, and has also worked at world class practices, including Morphosis in LA and Foster and Partners in London.
He interrupted his career to study the “architecture of rapid change and scarce resources“, and has since had a sideline combining an interest in humanitarian architecture in developing countries with creative design. Since 2008 he has consulted for Houston Morris Architects as project architect for many beautiful residential projects, with whom he continues to collaborate whenever possible.
